History: On Octorber 10, 1992 a group of business men and women and individuals interested in promoting Filipino American business met to discuss their common concerns and interests.

The group was drawn together as participants in the Business Module of the Philippine Heritage Federation's 1992 Conference entitled: Filipino Americans in the New Century.

The Business module identified such needs as networking, exchanging information and ideas, financing, opportunities for wider exposure and recognition, more opportunities for promotion, contracting information, and technical assistance.

Many meetings after the 1992 Conference and challenged by the desire to find solutions to the identified needs, these business entrepreneurs decided that in order to better address those needs, it had to formalize and organize a Chamber of Commerce.

Six months later, April 1993 the Chamber was born and ready to address the needs and concerns of entrepreneurs. With the organization now in place, Philippine American entrepreneurs are playing a role in the business community as well as the larger
community.
